Special cycling tours and lots of fun, through "Danube on 2 Wheels" project - this is the summer of 2019 for the disabled people from Calarasi.

Since May, AISSER has organized a series of special events exclusively for disabled people, within the ”Danube on 2 wheels” project.

AISSER, together with its partners, has chosen to be actively involved, through this project, in the lives of the less fortunate of us. This involvement represented a challenge to go beyond our limits, to promote equality and freedom of movement for disabled people.

In addition to the tourism promotion side of the Romania - Bulgaria border area and the promotion of the outdoor sports, the events dedicated exclusively to disabled people were meant to draw attention to the barriers facing the less fortunate of us, we want to raise the alarm regarding the social integration of disabled people and their full and equal access to society.
