Once the „Danube on 2 Wheels” Tourist information center was opened, we launched the „Cycling Adventure in CBC area” tourist package, created exclusively for the adventurous, outdoor enthusiasts who want to spend their free time in the middle of unaltered nature on the Romanian-Bulgarian cross-border shores, along the Danube river!
Starting from the desire to promote the green banks of the Danube and make known the cultural and natural heritage of the northern and southern areas of the Danube, AISSER Association, as project leader, wants to capitalize on this opportunity during the sustainability period, by proposing a tourist package, accessible and ecological, which consists of on-road and off-road cycling routes, intended for all those who want to discover the Romanian-Bulgarian cross-border region.
Through the adventure package we want to promote green tourism, by exploring the most beautiful areas in the Romanian-Bulgarian cross-border, on the cycling routes identified in picturesque areas, in the heart of nature, which hide an amazing natural wealth of along the Danube. For these adventures, we provide bicycles and technical and safety equipment, free of charge, which can be used by both professional cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts, families with children and disabled people.
We mention that “Cycling Adventure in CBC area” is a tourist package developed during the sustainability period of the “Danube on 2 Wheels” project, co-financed by the European Union, through the European Regional Development Fund, within the INTERREG V-A Romania – Bulgaria programme.
